What happens when two UX Academy graduates join forces and decide to design and launch a product together?
That’s the story behind Troupe, an app that takes the headache out of group travel planning. Inspired by his final capstone project, Max Rosero decided to run with the idea and founded Troupe. Thanks to community networking, Emily Khoo connected with Max and joined forces as a full-time Product Designer.
Today, Troupe has grown to a team of 13 full-time employees and has been lucky enough to attract the financial backing of a major American travel brand.

About Max Rosero:
Max is a native New Yorker with a voracious appetite and deep passion for all things travel. He can usually be found experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, obsessively searching Google Flights for a great deal, or teaching himself home improvement skills off of YouTube. Because he once wanted to be a diplomat, he has a B.A. in International Relations from Brown University and knows more global capitals than he's comfortable admitting to.
About Emily Khoo:
When Emily’s not marveling over design eye-candy and pondering the intricacies of humanity, she loves to draw comics, watch horror movies, and explore offbeat NYC events. She’s currently navigating the complexity of parenthood after she and her wife recently welcomed a miniature human to their family!
