Diversify Design Scholarships

Our scholarship program was created to level the playing field for aspiring designers – knowing our workplaces and the products we create will be better for it.

We take a broad view of diversity, whether that’s ethnicity, gender identity, age, disability, or socioeconomic background. Of course, these examples are not exhaustive, and if you identify with any historically disadvantaged or unrepresented group, we encourage you to apply.

Join a Community That Celebrates Diversity

Design is about far more than just visuals – it's about perspectives, which is why we actively seek to broaden the diversity of our community. Every month, we award a variety of scholarships ranging from $1,000 to 50% tuition. Scholarships each round will be based on both availability and need.

Application process

The application is comprised of three primary parts:

1. General information

2. Short written questions about why you want to participate in the scholarship program

3. A 1-minute video telling us a little bit about yourself and why you think you’re a good candidate*

*Videos will be assessed on content, not quality. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to our Admissions Team at:

admissions@designlab.com.
