The Lego Group's New Brand Identity
- Take a look into The LEGO Group's exciting brand identity: a redesign that emphasizes its core focus of making play accessible and tapping into imagination while shifting to a new dynamic creative strategy.
- In collaboration with agency Interbrand, the redesign draws inspiration from LEGO's historical elements and introduces comic book-inspired visuals, aiming to provide a unified and engaging design language that enhances user interaction and storytelling across LEGO's products and digital experiences
- “The design elements of comic books can be seen throughout the new brand experience. There are LEGO minifigures spouting dialogue through speech bubbles and a panel approach to the layout of visuals, all of which allow children to narrate their own stories and forge an emotional attachment to LEGO products.”
Reimagining the Longines Spirit Flyback
- This project by digital design agency Immersive Garden creates an immersive web experience for luxury brand Longines to create a digital exploration of the Spirit Flyback watch and its aviation-inspired heritage.
- The reimagining of the user experience focuses on integrating elements such as vibrant soundscapes, interactive storytelling, and dynamic visuals to cultivate feelings of luxury and adventure, both hallmarks of the brand’s identity.
- “Our journey began with a vision to evoke emotion and curiosity, guiding users through a dynamic narrative journey while showcasing the technical sophistication of the Spirit Flyback watch.”
DJ Lani Love's Website Redesign
- In this case study, author (and UX Academy graduate!) Cat Tran works through a complete site redesign for DJ Lani Love, specifically targeting the client’s goals of increasing her brand's visibility to luxury brands and improving event discoverability for fans.
- Key design updates included a hierarchy optimization in navigation, prominent display of client logos, use of bold colors and white space, and the introduction of animations and custom imagery to capture the nightlife vibe.
- “The client and her community had already built up such a strong visual language through other media like Twitch and Instagram; she just needed to translate it over to her website. I felt very honored to be the one to make it happen!”
