We recently sat down to chat with Peter Noah, a UX Academy graduate and now Product Designer at Artsy, an online marketplace for artwork.
Like many of our community members, Peter is a career switcher with decades of experience already behind him in the workforce.
Peter's background is in marketing and advertising, where he worked his way to a position as the Director of Marketing and Brand at Getty images. But, while he enjoyed his career growth, it ultimately took him to a role where he spent more time managing people than actually designing.
Kick back with a good cup of tea and your best note taking app to watch this on-demand webinar and learn more about:
- Why Peter decided to transition his already successful career from marketing and advertising to product design
- His experience in UX Academy, and his advice for anyone interested in pivoting to UX/UI design
- What a typical day-to-day looks like as a Product Designer at Artsy
- What excites Peter about his new career path and how it has affected his personal and professional goals
